Part of the Dichotomies Series. "Dichotomies: Life and Death (part 2)" depicts a feline skull surrounded by plant life. This piece envokes the feeling of balance between the dead and the living. This suggests the idea of memento mori with the feline's extended jaw and protruding fangs. It says, "death comes for us all" while also providing a delicate hope of furthering life by enriching the plants and flowers that surround it. As part of the Dichotomies series, it shows that these contradictory notions are not so opposing, but merely exist in a cycle with one another.
