About Me

Artist. Creator. Thinker.
Artist Statement
My work explores the unique convergence of psychology, philosophy, and curiosity about the human experience into a visual medium. I receive inspiration from nature, space, tattoo styles, as well as Japanese inspired designs and motifs. My own experience of neurodivergence and mental illness also plays a role in my work through exploring dark imagery. My favorite mediums to work with are pen/ink and digital (Clip Studio Paint). I also occasionally work with watercolor, acrylic paint, and gouache.
I create pieces to evoke an emotional response, convey ideas that words cannot, and get the observer to question their own perceptions. My work emerges as an interaction of intuition and experience. When creating a piece, I usually allow my unconscious to channel creative flow and later fine tune it into a cohesive completed work. This practice is how I make sense of what can't be explained simply and how I offer that understanding to anyone willing to look.
